Evaluation A radio drama My idea kind of came straight to me on what I wanted to do, but I did get inspiration from a fan fiction I had been reading at the time where one of the characters had written the other a love letter which I took and twisted it so my main character had died and written this letter to love of their life, which I also wanted to represent lgbt which my two main characters are both females in a relationship and the letter tells us how much she loved her to a bit about their parents not excepting who they are and that they are in love and that they were meant to be. An inspector calls. I looked at 'an inspector calls' because i have read the book but to hear it in the depths of a radio drama gave me a different perspective of the story. the thrill of the book was good and then hearing people act it out it gave the drama the justice it needed to be brought to life. The tiger in the smoke. this radio drama is based in the thick fog in london following a women who was widowed by the war which she receives pictures and letters saying that her husband is alive when its just someone committing crimes, it wasnt useful to my radio drama in the way of me writing a romantic drama but if i was gonna be writing a thriller or a crime drama this would have been useful just like an inspector calls. target audience looking at the radio 4 target audince stats i have learned that their viewers a more women, then male and are above the age of fifty the ages below only makes up 24% of the viewers. as shown below.
